We are developing an on-farm applied research program to test agritech tools on 25 Vermont dairy farms and expand from these pilot farms to a Northeast-wide rollout.
In collaboration with the pilot farms, the program identifies agritech tools that will best improve farm operation and environmental performance.
The program provides technical and financial support for the deployment of the tools on the pilot farms.
The program monitors the tools' performance and provides on-going technical support.
The information gained from this pilot farm program is used to support the roll out of tool deployment across Vermont and the northeast region's small farm community.
We are developing the Small Farm Research Program in consultation with the Academic Venture Lab.
